the area
between Dammerstock and the newer part, can connect the two parts, by expressing
its linear sequences and rhytm. To emphasize a clear access to Dammerstock there
will be a strip as in the original plan.

the strip
The Dammerstock-Siedlung is a complete 'Siedlung'. There is no space in it to
build something new and not to disturb the original character.
On the northern part of Dammerstock there is a green-strip. This strip is a
division between Dammerstock and the other part (with the same rhytm). When
people arrive on the tramstation or pass by, by car, this avenue appears as
the big entrance of Dammerstock.
the walls as a symbol
the strip that divides Dammerstock and the other part, can also connect them,
by expressing the linearity and rhytm of Dammerstock. Therfore we use an element
that also expresse the meaning and spirit of Dammerstock. We choose for a wall.
The wallexpresses linearity and continuity in the linear way. When you see the
walls from the entrance, they will make a sequence; that can attract people
and make them curious.
The walls should create a unity but have to differ from each other.
